Adéla has been a partner of UP since its inception in 2012. She is a graduate of Charles University Faculty of Law and recently deepened her knowledge upon obtaining the title of LL.M., which she earned from the Academy of Medical Law.
She primarily specializes in energy law, medical law, and litigious agenda.
Adéla has long been advising a major foreign group in the field of energy law, particularly in the area of regulatory bodies and disputes.
Another area of her expertise is medical law. She has represented one of the largest medical groups in the Czech Republic, where she advised a number of hospitals both in day-to-day operations and in dealing with insurance companies. She has also successfully litigated healthcare disputes against patients for malpractice damages in which the clients were protected from having to pay unauthorized claims in the tens of millions of Czech crowns.
In various hospitals she has applied many years of experience in dealing with labor-law matters. She advises the largest company in the Czech Republic with thousands of employees covering a full range of labor-law issues, including trade union rights and collective bargaining. Additionally, she also leads labor-law training sessions. Adéla has an extremely high rate of success in negotiating with trade unions or in disputes with the labor inspectorates.
Adéla heads up the litigation department, where she has advised, for example, an important Czech bank regarding a matter for 11 billion Czech crowns. In the past, she has represented large multinationals in disputes with minority shareholders or large Czech and foreign companies in disputes over acquisitions and common operations in the value of hundreds of millions of Czech crowns. She also successfully advised a Czech investor's entry into a foreign company.

Apart from her native Czech, Adéla is fluent in English and Slovak.
